With a sudden drop in the temperature outside and the winter months looming, it has never been more important to ensure that your hair is receiving the moisture and protection it requires to keep it looking healthy, soft and shiny.
With that in mind, here is my edit of what I have lovingly named the ‘Fab Four’ – four products I couldn’t be without in my hair care routine and how I use them to keep my hair soft and frizz free, without the use of straighteners.
First off, I begin by washing my hair twice with the Black Caviar Total Repair shampoo for coloured hair.
For someone who has their hair coloured every couple of months, I find this product brilliant for repairing it from any damage which may have been caused from having it coloured. Its texture is lightweight and it successfully restores any lost moisture without leaving my hair feeling heavy or greasy.
Next up, I use the Black Caviar and silk protein mask. This mask is literally like a spa for your hair. During Lockdown I would try and leave it on for the whole day to really reap the benefits of this deeply conditioning treatment, however it also works just as well if only left on for a few minutes in the shower. Again, it doesn’t leave your hair feeling heavy but instead baby soft and so shiny!
Once my hair has been towel dried, I move onto what is undoubtedly my favourite product in the range. The Black Caviar 12 in 1 multi action hair cream detangles the hair allowing your brush to glide through it with ease and leaves you with a sleek, frizz free finish once it has been dried. It is my go- to product and I couldn’t be without it!
Lastly, I run a small amount of the Thermo Builder Hair Restoration treatment through the ends of my hair before I go anywhere near it with a hairdryer. I find that this acts as a great layer of protection against the heat of the hairdryer. It is even more important to use this product if you are planning on using straighteners or curling tongs, in order to help prevent split ends.
So there you have it! Give the Fab Four a go and I promise you will see a noticeable difference in your locks. With everyone needing a little extra TLC in these tough times, it only seems fair to indulge your hair!
